COVID-19 VACCINES: POSSIBLE REASONS THE VACCINES ARE MAKING PEOPLE SICK.

United States (SCIENCE MAG) -- Severe allergy-like reactions in at least eight people who received the COVID-19 vaccine produced by Pfizer and BioNTech over the past 2 weeks may be due to a compound in the packaging of the messenger RNA (mRNA) that forms the vaccine’s main ingredient, scientists say. A similar mRNA vaccine developed by Moderna, which was authorized for emergency use in the United States also contains the compound, polyethylene glycol (PEG).

COVID-19 VACCINES: WHAT'S IN THEM AND HOW THEY WORK.

The first COVID-19 shot in the United States was administered on December 14, 2020. The first vaccine to be rolled out was from Pfizer-BioNTech. We hear scientists claiming that how the vaccines are made is due to ground breaking scientific research. We also hear talk about something called mRNA technology, implemented in the making of these new vaccines, which makes them more effective in the fight against this novel coronavirus. But, what is mRNA and how does it work?
